I'm reading a book called Ekaterinburg: The Last Days of the Romanovs, chronicling the last 14 days of the Romanovs, trapped in a house in the Urals. I saw a documentary on the revolution and the assassination of the Romanovs when I was about 5 or 6, and so it's the one main historical event I've grown up being quite knowledgeable about. I've read several novels set around this time, including one about a Russian émigré, and i'm reading a book about about Tsar Nick and King George right now ( Read more... )
